BusAcTa Advisors was founded in 2019 by Viral Patel and Ricky Patel, two CPAs who had seen firsthand how much time U.S. accounting firms were losing to work that could be handled offshore, if only the offshore team was worth trusting.
We started small with a handful of clients, a tight team, and a commitment that every file would go through a proper internal review before it left our desk. We were not trying to be the cheapest option. We were trying to be the one that didn't create more work for the firm on the other end.
As we grew, we formalized what had always been our natural way of working: dedicated teams. Each client firm gets the same people, every engagement. They learn your software, your review style, your preferences. Over time, they work less like a vendor and more like a department you happen not to manage directly.
Today, BusAcTa is a mid-size firm with a focused team across tax preparation, bookkeeping, audit support, and payroll. We work with CPA and EA firms across the U.S., mostly firms in the 5 to 30 staff range who need reliable capacity without the overhead of hiring. Our turnaround standards, quality reviews, and communication norms have been refined over five years of real-world client work.

Viral and Ricky started BusAcTa with a small team and a few U.S. CPA firm clients. Every file reviewed internally before delivery, a standard set from day one.

COVID forced firms to rethink how they worked. We helped clients move fully remote, tightened our cloud-based workflows, and grew the team to handle increased demand.

Ricky's career began inside accounting and tax practices, giving him an insider's view of what U.S. CPA firms actually need from an offshore partner. That hands-on foundation shapes every client conversation he leads today. At BusAcTa, Ricky owns two things most firms rarely see combined in one person: growth strategy and quality assurance. On the growth side, he structures every new engagement to fit the firm, not the other way around. He asks the right questions, understands the workflow, and sets expectations that hold. On the QA side, he holds delivery to the same standards he'd expect if the files were his own. This dual accountability is deliberate. It means the firm that Ricky brings in and the experience that firm has are held to the same benchmark, by the same person. His measure of success is simple: the client gets more than they expected, consistently.

He saw the same gap repeatedly: firms wanted offshore support, but what was available either lacked quality control or added more management overhead than it removed. He built BusAcTa around the opposite model, an offshore team that operates as a genuine extension of the firm, with disciplined workflows, clear accountability, and QA baked into every stage, not bolted on at the end. As Co-Founder, Viral oversees BusAcTa's end-to-end operations and holds final accountability for quality across every active engagement. His dual CPA and CA credentials mean he evaluates work the way a senior reviewer would, technically, not just operationally. That perspective runs through every process, hire, and standard the firm maintains.

As Business Development Manager, he owns the full early-stage experience: initial outreach, discovery calls, scoping the right engagement model, and making sure every detail, software compatibility, turnaround windows, review preferences, is worked through before anything is signed. Her approach is systematic and client-first. She monitors active engagements, identifies bottlenecks before they reach the client, and builds the operational systems that allow BusAcTa to scale without degrading delivery quality. When a process needs improving, she designs the fix and ensures it sticks. Avani also leads new-hire integration, structuring ramp-up programmes that bring team members up to BusAcTa's delivery standards and client-specific requirements before any live work begins. Her standard: the client experience should be seamless, regardless of what's happening internally.

He sets the technical standard for how accounts work gets done, owns the review process, and is accountable when something needs to be right the first time. His team works across a range of client profiles: from small businesses to multi-entity structures, across QuickBooks, Xero, and other platforms. Yash ensures each engagement is staffed correctly, scoped clearly, and delivered within the turnaround windows clients rely on. He also drives continuous improvement within the accounts function, refining SOPs, identifying recurring error patterns, and building checklists that reduce rework. The goal he holds his team to: the CPA firm reviewing BusAcTa's output shouldn't need to correct it.

He sets the technical standards for the tax team, leads the review process, and holds accountability for accuracy and timeliness across every engagement his department handles. His work spans the full U.S. tax calendar, from 1040s and 1120s through to multi-state filings, extensions, and amended returns. He ensures the team is current on federal and state tax law changes and that client-specific nuances are captured and maintained from one season to the next. Nick also plays a key role in scoping new tax engagements, understanding the complexity, turnaround expectations, and software environments before work begins. His standard for the department: returns that go back to the CPA firm ready to review, not ready to correct.
